Our team at PainCare Physio & Foot Clinic is dedicated to improving our clients’ quality of life by relieving acute and chronic pain while preventing further injuries. We have extensive education and accreditation in the services that we provide and are constantly striving for excellence.

Mr. Dunlin Zhang

Physiotherapist & Acupuncturist

Dunlin graduated with a Master of Science degree in physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2006, after completing medicine and pathophysiology degrees in China. Since 2006, he has worked as a physiotherapist in acute care, rehabilitation hospitals, and private clinics, treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, workplace injuries, and motor vehicle accident recoveries.

Dunlin is also a registered acupuncturist. He uses a combination of modalities including manual therapyacupuncturetherapeutic ultrasoundtranscutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS)low level laser therapyspinal decompressionshockwave therapy and exercise prescriptions, low level laser therapy, spinal decompression, shockwave therapy and exercise prescriptions to create individualized, hands-on treatments focused on improving recovery for clients of all ages.

Yixiao (Eric) Long

Physiotherapist & Acupuncturist​

Eric is passionate about the human body’s resilience and complexity, and he brings that curiosity into every patient interaction. He is committed to integrating the latest scientific evidence into practice while keeping care patient-centred, with the goal of empowering clients to take an active role in their recovery and long-term health.

Through combining tailored exercise programs, practical day-to-day strategies, and hands-on treatment, Eric works with you to create a plan that aligns with your goals and lifestyle.

Outside the clinic, Eric enjoys staying active on the badminton court, playing his electric guitar, and discovering new bubble tea spots around the city.

David Le

Physiotherapist

David has a B.Sc in Kinesiology from McMaster University and a M.Sc in Physiotherapy from the Univeristy of Toronto. With an advanced understanding of anatomy, kinesiology and the neurofunctional approach, David’s practice revolves around creating a individualized treatment to restore and improve your movement patterns, so that you can get back to feeling your best.
 
David is a big believer in manual therapy, corrective exercise, and providing education. His goal is to help you understand the cause behind your discomfort, and working with you to help you achieve long-lasting functional benefit.
 
David’s credentials beyond his degree include:
    1.    Neurofunctional Acupuncture training from the McMaster. 
    2.    Complete Management Concussion training
    3.    FCAMPT Level 1
    4.    Anatomy in Motion

Wenli Wei

Chiropodist (Foot Specialist)

 

Wenli graduated with a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from  the University of Toronto, and a graduate advanced diploma in chiropody from the Michener Institute, after the completion of a medicine and a pharmacology degree in China. Since 2001, Wenli has been working in the University of Toronto research lab, St John’s rehab hospital, VHA Rehab Solution, community health center, and private clinic in Toronto.

As a chiropodist, Wenli has a passion in treating patients with various foot conditions. She believes that the health of one’s feet is the foundation to the health of the entire body. Wenli’s specialized interest lies with treating various biomechanical issues of the foot and providing orthotic therapy to relief foot, knee, and back pain.  

 

Chaoyan (Anthea) Xie

Registered Massage Therapist

Chaoyan (Anthea) is a Registered Massage Therapist with College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Shan (Sam) Jiang

Registered Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist

Shan (Sam) Jiang is highly experienced in both traditional and modern acupuncture techniques. He is skilled in treating a wide range of conditions, including migraines, stiff neck, shoulder pain, acute and chronic back pain, knee pain, skin conditions, insomnia, stress, irregular menstruation, eye fatigue, partial facial paralysis, vertigo, and more.

He also specializes in Traditional Chinese massage (Tui Na), using targeted acupressure along meridian pathways to relieve pain and promote overall wellness. His expertise extends to scalp massage and therapeutic stretching, helping clients feel relaxed, restored, and balanced.

Jing (Barbara) Yan

Registered Massage Therapist

Jing (Barbara) is a Registered Massage Therapist with College of Massage Therapy of Ontario.

Barbara specializes in using a combination of muscle therapy, meridian techniques, and acupressure to accurately locate patients’ pain points and provide targeted treatment. Effective for relieving conditions such as: headaches and neck stiffness or pain; lower back pain and discomfort; arm pain and restricted movement; leg pain and muscle tension. Also shows noticeable improvement for conditions such as: stiff neck; brachial plexus nerve compression; tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow; lower back sprain, and limited shoulder mobility
 
Through professional techniques, Barbara helps clients relieve pain, relax muscles, and restore physical function, improving overall comfort and well-being.
